Review on Denso 234 9023 Fuel Ratio Sensor by Vashod Reed

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works / Easy / Significant savings $

Excellent: Easy to install (especially with TEKTON 4929 3/8" actuator with 7/8" oxygen sensor connection) Took 10 minutes max. a few weeks ago the "Check Engine" light came on - since the engine started and ran fine I decided to try and do the repair myself. $22) to get DTC "P1135”. A few minutes of googling led me to this Denso (two YouTubers linked to this page so it was easy and cheap to get parts. The scanner can hardly be described as "professional" but it worked flawlessly and was easy to use NOTE You must plug in the scanner connector with the ignition off, but you must turn the ignition on after the reader is plugged in so it can "talk" to the engine computer and identify the correct trouble code The sensor cost nearly $100 less, which is the Toyota dealer wanted, and it arrived (in Hawaii) a week after ordering - ok, me $250 - just wasting an hour of my time.
