Caution: If you are replacing a burned out bulb, the socket is probably corroded and you will need to replace the socket as well! I installed them, they worked a day, hooked up the trailer, drove 150 miles, the sky started to darken, I turn on the headlights and notice that there are no headlights in the trailer! The taillights also went out. The fuse has blown. Replaced the fuse and it blew again. I pulled out the lightbulbs and put in a good old lightbulb that I have. So lightbulbs are pretty much useless to me. I think the resistance of the internal socket caused by corrosion as well as the current draw of the LED lamp will only blow the fuses. It might have to do with the trailer outlet, but it gave me a big problem in the middle of nowhere at 7pm anyway because these bulbs plug into an outlet, not a standard outlet. I want to ditch those straight lines and risk more problems or just go back to new OEM sockets and bulbs.
