The first step is to throw in the included wire clips.
Correct. Cheap wire clamps do not support lamp mounting during installation. Replace high quality wire nuts. The cable twist/kink issue that so many have complained about hasn't bothered me. We shorten the cord to about 12 inches for the over-the-sink install, so kinks aren't really a problem—they're there, but not too bad. Installing a globe is an illogical process. a crystal ball, as you might reasonably think. No, this yoke with brass screws fits over the glass bowl - purely decorative. The glass ball is carried by a large nut. DO NOT TIGHTEN TOO! /Yellow to the bare bottom.
