I love baking but neither of us needs a full size cake. These 6" cake pans are perfect. Now I can make little cakes for us and freeze some cake pops or cupcakes for the "grands". The possibilities for the cake are infinite. The layer is fat so I can cut a circle of cake from the middle and fill the whole with chocolate, strawberry etc. mousse, or, fill the cake with sliced strawberries, blueberries or raspberries and then put part of the whole on top for a yummy surprise. I can slice layers with a "fishing line" and put fillings between each of the layers. Can you get the idea. We each get our fill of cake and don't feel "pressured" to eat a large cake.
