I love these lights

We have installed 34 of these along about 220 feet of cedar fence around our yard. They mount to a horizontal 2x6 on top of the fence, so the light block is perhaps 3/8" from the wood surface, and they look great. Depending on how much sun they get we have them last all night regularly except in winter even in SoCal (night is still longer, and there's less daylight too. YMMV.) We've had them for about 9 months and none have failed.
