Review on Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Wireless Speaker - Nylon (Old Model): Enhanced Audio Experience on-the-go by Eric Temple

I'm an audio addict and I'm constantly trying different systems to get that "aha" moment out of the sound of the to get the device out. I bought the Bose SoundLink wireless mobile speaker after seeing some popular ads on Revain. I've been using the product for a month and I'll list the pros and cons I've found - Pros ==== 1. Feels smaller than I can imagine based on the pictures on the website. The device is very compact and a bit heavy maybe due to the powerful compact magnets.2. The device is very simple. It looks like there are five audio elements, two on the sides and one in the middle. Six switches on the top and 3 ports on the back is all it has. Simple and elegant.3. The sound from such a small box is incredible! I tried country, classical, rock and soft music and the sound was very clear. There were very pleasing low and soft tones, very good clarity, and no falseness on high notes. very pleasant sound, somewhat bass-heavy.4. I tried running it from mobile phones (iPhone) and laptops (Windows and Mac) and it worked perfectly with each of them. I tried running it via Bluetooth from 25/30 feet and it worked really well. The battery looks solid (so far). It takes a long time and the charging process is pretty fast. This built-in rechargeable battery makes it easy taking this device with you everywhere (from the porch to the kitchen and carrying it around on the same program!) and listening very carefully to the device. Cons====1. Lack of Wi-Fi support. I want to connect this device to my home network via Wi-Fi.2. Bluetooth pairing a device with multiple music sources is a bit cumbersome. If you have more than one music source, you will need to leave the device in play mode and try several times before successfully connecting to the source as this device will remember the last music source it was paired with. I wish it was easier to switch music sources.3. The design of the device looks decent, however, the connections on the back are a bit strange and could have been designed better and without gaps. All in all a good portable audio device with the great sound quality you've always come to expect from Bose. If you have more than one music source, you will need to leave the device in play mode and try multiple times before you can successfully connect to the source as this device will remember the last music source it was paired with.
