In this case the picture is not worth a thousand words. The SATA cable jacket is not made of soft, elastic nylon, but of hard plastic. I bought these assuming the braided casing was flexible, but it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, this is a quality cable, but I would have preferred a soft, pliable finish to a hard plastic. Time will speak of quality and durability. But if you're buying them with the expectation that they'll be very flexible, look elsewhere. Would I buy them again, probably not.
