Not for small frames

I bought this chair on sale with a voucher so it's not bad for the purchase price. However, my first impressions of this product that I own were not favorable. Received the chair today and assembled it in quite a hurry. I noticed that there were a few unsightly dents on the back of the chair when it was packaged. It initially felt very solid and I had no issues with the build quality. However, I bought a "big" chair because I like to sit cross-legged in it. Little did I know that being short (5ft 6in) I would be at such a disadvantage. The armrests are uncomfortably far from the back of the chair, even when tilted slightly. But there is plenty of seating opposite. on its feet, which is a small victory. With the removable lumbar support, the seat depth is so shallow that the fully extended leg rest was more of a thigh support. I suppose this is an even bigger problem for taller people. Lumbar support, footrest supports my ankles which is better. Without the footstool my feet can be at floor level but not with much weight on them as the chair is barely low enough for me in its lowest position. But obviously it's a chair for tall people, so it doesn't bother me that much. The chair (assembly and material) is very hard and doesn't offer much comfort. I'll use it for a few days to see if I like it enough to keep it.
