Don't Decelerate - Shock and Vibration Dampening

I bought these 4 years ago for my 1999 Wrangler TJ that I was reconditioning. It was road only for the first three years. I moved to New Mexico 8 months ago and just started exploring and taking pictures, nothing crazy. Both strikes exploded in a short time. I went to the parts store to get new shocks and the salesman told me he would never recommend Skyjacker shocks for that reason. Lesson learned.
