Review on Portable acoustics Harman/Kardon Go Play Mini, 100 W, white by Adam Sterlinski ᠌

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

Today I came across this column and, of course, decided to see how it plays, after laudatory reviews about it. I honestly expected a wow effect right here, maybe that's why my impression was dry. As a result, I can say about its sound - it plays well, naturally, the highs are rather soft, unobtrusive, the middle is good, the bottom is dry, unobtrusive and collected. But in general, I would consider this speaker, which can only be listened to in the near field. You move a little further and it is already beginning to get lost, the feeling of immersion disappears sharply and you begin to hear not music, but a speaker that is playing something there. In general, comparing with my bookshelf speakers, I can strictly say that my bookshelf speakers play an order of magnitude more convincingly, and not only in the near field. True, with a caveat - the high frequencies on my bookshelf speakers, although quite detailed and natural, still prevail over the main picture, on some tracks it’s just good, but somewhere I want to pick them up, but I don’t touch anything and the acoustics play as they are. So in the end, the harman column - most certainly will like it, and I would also like to have such a column, but not as the main source of listening, but as an addition.
