First, the S5 barely fits in this bag. It's hard to press and it's a good thing that it fits snugly, but once the phone is there and in your hand it's almost impossible to use any buttons. The outer rim (Belkin logo) wraps around just enough to cover all the buttons, good luck trying to achieve volume or performance. I've tried adjusting the volume multiple times, even removing the bandage from my arm and standing still, but it's hard to press the cover. The screen cover also makes it almost impossible to enter the lock code or even use the phone without removing it from the case. Every time I need to launch an app or anything, I have to stop and take my phone out of the case. The strap is ok, it's quite strong but quite short. I don't even have big hands - 11 inches, and I only have about an inch on the strap where it can be attached with Velcro. I guess if you have a thicker jacket or bigger hands, the strap won't even be big enough. Not a good experience. I'll get another headband - possibly an open front media bridge. I had one for the S3 but not the S5 when I was looking for headbands a month ago.
