F350 Installation 2015 - Lighting and Lighting Accessories

Great product. Full product review with updated rating, photos and videos. I have tested the lights with a 9v battery to make sure they work and I think they are amazing and should be very bright once connected to 12v. A little tricky to install as you need to find the right cables. This is the most problematic part, but it's worth it in the end. So far 5 stars for overall quality, further installation and testing pending. I have a 2015 F-350 Platinum 6.7. I have found various electrical schematics and diagrams on the internet and also from Chilton and Haynes. All are slightly different and have unfortunately only partially helped. So if you're shopping for 3-way running board lights (door activated puddle white lights, park amber, and amber) and need help with car wiring, here's what I finally found for my 350. Access to the wiring harness under the inside of the front wheel from the driver's side Well. Remove the wheel arch cover. This gives you the best and definitely the easiest access to the cables you need. All wires in one bundle. Run the connecting cables from the passenger side down to the driver's side. Zippered where needed to protect from direct heat contact. Couldn't get through the top of the engine bay as the cables are a foot shorter for that, but it was fine underneath. The driver's side easily fits directly into the wheel well on the driver's side. Take the extra cable from the driver's side, tie/wrap it and place it in the empty hole in the body cavity near the front of the driver's side, just in front of the door. In the wiring harness I used the following wires via posi-taps. They're expensive, but they're worth it. Believe me. If you don't know what posi-taps are, look it up here on Revain or google them. The best taps for tapping wires near wire harnesses or in short wire situations. Anyway, here are the colors of the wires I used: Puddle Lights: Purple Right Turn: Purple (orange turn signal) Left Turn: Gray (black turn signal) Marker Lights: Amber (blue turn signal) Photos and videos I'm not done with But the setup found the actual location of the wires and wanted to at least start sharing that information. All were tested with pigtails right in the harness. Having taken the interior apart and attempted to reassemble it, I naturally found this wiring harness to be the most efficient and easiest place to place all the wire pins as my initial desire was to route them into the cabin for the connection points .
