They are warm, thick, do not bind and the seam on the fingers is almost invisible. I've only worn them for a few hours but I'll update my review if my opinion changes. The inside is pretty soft, but not so soft that you want to rub it on your face. -Binding! I have large calves and I ordered medium (my women's shoe size is US 8) and I can pull them up all the way and feel perfectly comfortable. I usually have to roll up the tops of my socks because they give my calves a bun shape, even expensive brands that are otherwise well constructed. The band around the top of the sock is a softer, more stretchy fabric than the rest of the sock, so it has just enough elasticity to stay on your feet without pinching at all. It's clear that someone really put some thought into the design of these socks and cares about how they're worn. That's rare these days! These aren't features that make the product thumbnail clickbait, but they add them anyway. Note that they are quite thick so consider buying them to wear with your shoes. I would like to wear them with shoes but I usually buy shoes with more room. If you buy shoe shoes, they can become uncomfortable because of their thickness. The thickness seems to be comparable to thick Smartwool hiking socks - much thicker than normal socks but not as thick as ski/snowboard socks.
