It's a little shocking how quickly this thing opens, be prepared not to injure anyone or the umbrella itself when you open it. The same button is used to open and close, and it takes a little force to fold it and return it to the closed position. (The button automatically folds up a real umbrella.) Water drips off it, and the fabric dries pretty quickly (you still have to leave it open to dry). It looks pretty cheap, but for $20 it's pretty standard. It should fit in a storage box on the dashboard of most cars or under one of the seats. Even in a laptop bag or backpack.
