no. I have a 50 year old sewing habit. So I use thread and since I usually sew and machine embroider I use a lot of thread and then I look at a lot of thread for Vine. My embroidery thread takes up the highest height, so if you only sew with normal sewing thread, you can get by with a slightly lower height in the organizer. I found that with this organizer it is better to remove the dividers to store the thread.
