Without even 10 hours of work on this coil set (three of them for 70hp Johnson) the coil on the second cylinder failed. When I was at the lake And I had to limp to the pier. Luckily I had a spare coil on a 30 year old 70hp 3 cylinder Johnson that was on my trailer fishing boat. There are no identifying marks or brand logos anywhere on the Sierra reels. After working as a professional automotive technician for 40 years, I've found that companies that are so aware of their parts they don't even put ID on them realize they're selling junk. I will send all three coils back and take them with me. CDI or factory original.
