Amazing once you figure it out

Love it. I found some oddities I found solutions that work for me. First, a thermos retains heat very well. Too good! I have to boil the water and then let it stand until it reaches 145 degrees. Then I fill the base, then fill the top, adding just enough water to fill the top. As a result, the hot water does not burn the tongue and the thrust starts the suction. That helped me alot. On the first day I burned my tongue and learned. Hope that helps. Under the lid was a white rubber gasket. It fell off immediately when I opened the lid. Not sure if it was for practice or delivery?
