Review on Dr Teal's Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash - Relax and Relief with Eucalyptus Spearmint, 24 fl oz by Katie Pearce

This is a quality soap, I put it on a cloth (2 pushes) and lathered it up. My bathroom and the surrounding hallways get a big dose of scent. It's good, but I find the scent a little too overpowering. The soap makes you smooth and has some soothing properties that are downright pleasant (combination of eucalyptus and Epsom salts?). It definitely leaves a feeling of cleanliness and freshness. The smell is a bit herbal and maybe a designer scent. I own a few niche and designer fragrances and I would say this fragrance leans more towards the designer. The scent is very pleasant, more masculine than feminine, but definitely unisex. I would put the soapy scent in the $50-$100 designer fragrance category that you can find at Nordstrom or Macy's, which is mostly good. It's overwhelming when you're in the shower and it leaves an odor on your skin that dissipates after an hour, so think about it. Definitely worth a try and definitely great value for the price, it still doesn't replace Turbowash but I would say it's incredible value for money and has its place in the niche body wash world. *Edit: after washing my body for a few weeks now with heavy use (already used 1/8 bottle), I can say that the scent has calmed down a bit. I'm not sure if it's olfactory exhaustion or if the smell has diminished a bit; For my next bottle I will try to shake the bottle a bit the first time I use it to make sure the fragrance oils aren't sitting on the bottom which may have made the scent very strong for the first few sips. Or it could literally just be a bottle opened/used for the first time, making that first use a very strong smell. I still think this is a great soap with anti aging properties!
