They don't look cheap at all. They are well balanced and the balls at the bottom help the entire earring swing and move gracefully. I'm so excited and can't wait for Valentine's Day! To update. I deducted a star because it irritated my ears. Not terrible but I doubt they are sterling silver. If they were, I don't think I would be upset.
