That was a pleasant surprise. The crate turned out to be heavier than I thought it would be and the assembled storage box turned out to be around 6 pounds. The look is happy. Assembly instructions are not included, so please refer to the assembly instructions as the image in the product listing. It was easy to understand without any special instructions. Each of the four tiers, each with handles on each side, can be assembled in a 3x3 or 4x4 grid with very strong inserts. Luckily I installed two tiers of each and have 4 inserts left that easily fit in the bottom of the larger box. The top attaches with snaps, and there are two snaps on the top of the box, basically allowing you to store larger decorations on the top tray. The box is very stable and looks attractive. I don't think you can go wrong measuring your jewelry to make sure it fits the grid.
