SECOND UPDATE: So this device didn't work for me at all. Rather than move on to a third device, I just gave up the ghost and sent it back for a refund. However, it is worth noting that the client-server provided by Revain and the manufacturer (Tidal Tek) was exceptional. Crazy good customer service. That alone earned them an extra star. I chose the Nettech Universal Long Arm/Neck Car Mount with 360 degree rotation. So far, so good.******************************************* * * * ***********UPDATE: Well I'm pissed. That thing is a piece of shit. It worked fine for the first few days, but now it behaves like the original device I had. Here's my take: A three-year warranty is useless if I have to use it every week. This is by far my worst Revain purchase. ************************************************** **************** Okay first let me say my item arrived on time but the box was broken and the handle didn't stay closed. Amazon is here to help! I filled out the return form in the HELP section of the Revains page, click the button, voila! I had a return label handy and a replacement in the mail. Cute! The next day my thing came (Revain doesn't play!). Strangely, the replacement was found in the box, which was also broken. WHAT? BUT, the mount was undamaged and appears to be in excellent condition. How would I describe this thing: OK, so it's well designed to do everything it claims to do, but it looks like it's going to break at any moment. I admit it might be a little paranoid because the first part sucked, I guess the jury's not out yet. Again, it's mature for working from a windshield or air vent (actually pretty slick), but the materials feel light and cheap. The time will show. I would like to remind you that the guarantee is 3 years, so I have nothing to lose. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the material.
