Review on Get the Ultimate Gaming Experience with PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Bundle by Agata Gawlik-Strzele ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

I bought a Wi-Fi + 3G version in the USA (bundle with The Walking Dead game + 4GB memory card) for $199 (6500). At the 2022 price, I definitely would not buy it. Although I am not a child (27 years old), I am satisfied with the purchase, I play in the subway. Despite the fact that there are not many games, there are decent ones that are really worth their money: Killzone: Mercenary, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, NFS Most Wanted, Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate, Assasssin's Creed: Liberation. The eternal question is, what is better, downloading games with a PSPlus subscription, or buying on cartridges? To download games, you will need a 32GB memory card (there is no point in less, since games weigh 2-4GB each), and the card costs 3000r + 2022r subscription for a year, total = 5000r. (you can take a subscription for 3 months for 585). Since I had a 4GB card in the kit (enough to store save games), I decided to spend 5000 not on a subscription and a card, but bought 3 games on cartridges. Considering that not always good games are offered by subscription, I decided that it is more interesting and cheaper for me to buy on cartridges and only what I am personally interested in playing. I am pleased to have a cartridge that I can play at any time and not be tied to a subscription, because if you change your mind about paying for a subscription, what you downloaded for free will no longer be available to you until you pay for the subscription again. I love games, but since I have a family and a job, it makes no sense to buy a home console due to lack of time. On the iPad, of course, games are much cheaper, but on Vita, the games are cooler. For example - NFS Most Wanted on the tablet is a set of tracks that you pass one by one, and on Vit you have a large open city for free movement, this is a hundred times more interesting. I advise you to watch the gameplay of Killzone on PSVita on YouTube - it's a masterpiece! In general, I am satisfied with everything, everything suits me. The console is definitely worth a try.

Pros
  • - There are great games that you can only play on PSVita. - Excellent management. Although I am an iPad lover, I have to admit that Vita's buttons and analog joysticks are many times more convenient than the tablet's touch screen. - Good build quality, it doesn't feel like you're holding a cheap thing in your hands (which you can't say about the PSP). - A good ratio of weight and size, the console does not weigh down at all and does not take up much space in the bag.
Cons
  • - The high cost of games. - Not a big library of games. - Lack of built-in memory. - The high cost of memory cards.
