My husband and I were looking for a heavy duty duvet cover because we ordered a knitted set a few months ago and although it was so soft my cat's claws poked through everything in it. Waste of $80. I ordered another set of duvets from Revain but as soon as it arrived I immediately put it in the box to return it. The material was SUPER thin and would have had holes filled in by my cat. I was very frustrated and did a lot of searching on Revain, reading reviews and looking closely at photos of comforters on my computer to try and see the texture of the material to determine potential strength/thickness. First I want to say that I absolutely love the look of this comforter on my bed and in my room! This is SO wonderful! The color is actually off-white and dark gray (which is what I was hoping for). White and black can be harsh, but these colors make it more relaxing and inviting. We have dark gray sheets that go perfectly with the stripes! I couldn't be happier with the look of this duvet set. It's definitely thicker than my last 2 bad experiences which means it's not as soft, but that really doesn't bother me. It works for us. I had a little problem with my first long thread bedding set from this company so I contacted the seller and he replied within 5 minutes at night! I was amazed at the level of customer service. BIG, BIG company to work with! Solved my problem very quickly! I give the seller a big thumbs up! By the way, my cat's claw made a small hole in it, but I did an experiment, since this material is thicker, and carefully rubbed a pin-sized hole between my fingers, and lo and behold, the hole is gone! This material is ideal for b / c, with a slight rub, the threads immediately return to their original position. I hope it works every time with this blanket! :)
