Review on πŸ”‘ Convenient Keyless Entry Replacement for MOZB41TG with 4D67 Chip Vehicles by Christopher Clearfield

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits Scion tC 2007

Great quality comparable to OEM keys! My gray Scion tC key is falling apart, the photo shows cracks in the gray plastic. The black key on the left is the one I bought from Revain. The gray plastic case of the original key is cracked, the metal part of the key is loose. I heard car dealers charge $$$ for a new key so I tried that first. Until I regret it The dot on the metal part of the key closest to the plastic housing indicates that this transponder is compatible with the 2007 Scion tC. There is a video on YouTube on how to program the immobilizer chip and remote control buttons. Step 1: Program the transponder and make sure the immobilizer is disabled with the new key. YouTube how to do it. Step 2: Cut out the key. If you have proof that you own the car (title or registration), your Toyota dealer will make the key for free! Step 3: Program the buttons on the remote control. YouTube how to do it. The programming sequences to get the Scion to code the new key fob and remote buttons seem ridiculous, including inserting and removing the ignition key multiple times and opening and closing the driver's door multiple times! But it puts the machine into programming mode and it worked for me! YouTube is your friend for accurate programming sequences. Well worth the time and savings compared to getting the dealer to do it for $$$!
