This lamp requires training. While working on my nails I had to cut the time in half which the brand I was using said it needed to be cured. This is definitely a very powerful nail lamp and if you don't take the time to do the math you will over dry your gel and it will peel right off. Lamps, curing the sides wasn't a problem, but I had problems with this one. If you have sharp "C" curves, remember that you need to keep your hand in an odd position to allow the sides to heal. I'm not exactly sure what to do with it. Despite being advertised as painless, my nails got hot a few times but seemed to go away after a short time. I highly recommend putting sunscreen on your hands before use. Love the lamp it is beautiful and I will continue to use it but remember what I said when you get yours. Divide normal curing time in half, follow "C” curves and use sunscreen.
