Mounted this carburetor on my wodsplitter, easy to install and seemed like a decent product.The engine starts harder with this carb than the original, need more pulls and idles rough for a few minutes longer than before. A lot of carbon residue on the spark plug and a sooty exhaust, noticeable difference in fuel consumption, uses an lot more fuel.This carb works, just not as efficient. Will probably rebuild the old carb and keep this as an emergency back up.

Everything came as described priced right and fitment is perfect … installation was just like replacing stock parts no modification required.

Ordered on a Sunday and received it the next day, would have given 5 stars but had no instructions in package and I had to look up how to change the choke lever. swapped out the old Carburetor with the new and it started on the first pull.

Replaced the stock carb 695114 as this one looked the same. I could have used the included choke left but instead removed the choke plate and shaft from my old carb. It fit this carb perfect. The screws are hard to get out with a screwdriver and needed to use needle nose vise grips to get the broke loose but all went well and the generator runs perfect. Tried a kit in my old carb first but and it still leaked.should have just bought this one from the start.

When I finally received the carburetor, it was as described. I had to modify the choke lever for clearance (5 minutes with a utility knife and file). Once installed, three pulls and it started right up. Been working fine so far, about six hours of run time. The original problem seems to be Walmart. Delivered it over a week late.

Installing this carburetor on a Coleman Powermate 6250. The generator runs great with this carburetor installed. The control rod from the generator to the carburetor is a little tricky to install because of of cramped space.You have to put a 15 to 20 degree bend about 2 inches from the end on the generator end of the control rod in order to hook it to the generator linkage. Then straighten the rod, install the spring, and install the other end of the rod on a carburetor & clip.

I received the carburetor & the two mounting screws (in good order) and installed them on my Generac Wheelhouse 5550 Portable generator (with a Briggs & Stratton engine). After several pulls of the starter rope, it fired up strong and the engine ran perfectly. This was exactly what I needed to get my generator in good running order, for the rest of this Hurricane season, especially since I live in southeastern Florida.Thanks for a well made product that performs as expected!

Great Nikki Briggs replacement. Took about 5 minutes to swap and runs perfect. I'm just going to replace carbs on my small engines yearly at these prices. Not worth spending $7 on a can of carb cleaner and almost spraying in my eyes.

I bought this carb for my Briggs and Stratton 6000 watt generator with an 11 hp engine, Went right on with no issue and started right up. Engine now runs much smoother than it did with old carb.

installed the oem choke butterfly valve onto the new carb in order to get the engine to start. the choke valve on the oem unit has one hole drilled into it. the replacement has 2. doesn't allow enough vacuum to pull fuel. installed the oem part and fired right up. not a direct oem replacement. it'll work as long as you have the oem to pull the correct pieces off.

Okay flat out, this worked perfectly on my Generac Wheelhouse 5550 portable generator powered by a Briggs and Stratton motor. The original carburetor was a Nikki 697978 G02523 4Y12 A. Very easy to install, and I show in the video how to swap out the plastic choke piece going into the carb with the shorter one. Pro tip, the shorter one comes with the new carb also, so you literally do not need ANYTHING off the old carb.

Simple install and worked perfectly. The only concern is that this is the second similar carb that I've installed on this motor in the past year. The first one quit working for some unapparent reason, but it was much cheaper to buy a new unit than to tear the old one apart and troubleshoot the failure.

Nothing to complain about. Had to take out the butterfly valve so I could put on the shorter throttle handle that was provided and mounted it right up. Got it for a 5500 troybilt generator with a 10hp briggs that had been sitting for a few yrs and it cranked on the first pull. Bought this to replace old carburetor on a Power Boss 5600 watt generator. Perfect fit and generator starts right up now. No adjustments needed. Great price and quality.

After watching a You Tube video and trying to clean the jets and put it all back together (which did not work) got this for $15 and took 10 minutes to put on, first pull it started and works perfect!
