For me the average weight of the jacket is ideal so I don't get too hot when shopping at the mall or grocery store. Good for driving and getting in and out of the car as head protection in rain or snow. Water resistance not listed. No problem for me. I don't go out in the rain. Removable hood! The inside of the coat has a lining of roughly the same color as the outside of the coat. It looks very nice. The clasp works great! Not cheap! Nice seams inside and out. Not a single thread! According to the label, it is machine washable! I have it in size XL and it is the same as my old Col MBA brand and fits the same. I am 5ft tall with a full top and I would advise my friends to order the next size up if they are taller say 44 inches in chest. I just got it and it's over 40* today so I don't know how it will perform in transient cold conditions. I keep it close. Blue is a fairly light/medium side of blue. My picture and your picture is correct. This is exactly what I wanted for my needs.
