Review on Rugged Ridge 11585 04 Accessory Brake by Michael Glassburn

The plate that holds the LED lights is made from high quality ABS plastic and the individual LED bulbs are in a soft silicone ring (assumed waterproof). It's good. I'm giving 3 stars because the first one I received appeared to be a returned product as the box was ripped open, the wire attachment to the LED ring was broken and the wire connector was cut off. Revain took care of the return and sent me a new one that was better. I have yet to cut the connector off because it doesn't match the connector on the TJ (although it says it fits right in). I connected and plugged in my own plugs and they work fine. The LEDs are very bright, but the top of the ring is hidden behind the spare tire rim (not the product's fault, it's my style spare). For the price it's not very good value for money. He could use the $20 price drop to set the right price. They actually have cheaper ones that look the same and cost around $35. I don't think it will last long and if it fails I will not replace it.
