Review on ๐Ÿ› Enhance Your Bathroom with the Delta Faucet Westdale Towel Ring in SpotShield Brushed Nickel, a Must-Have Bathroom Accessory! by Sheneka Lane

Revainrating 3 out of 5

At first I thought I would like it better. Then, once on top, thought it was too free to feel.

I liked this idea. You can place two mounting bases at almost any distance from each other. However, they offer a minimum distance of about half the rod length. This means you can put the bases on stilettos, or you can have one end of the pole hanging over the end so you can hang a robe or something from it. At first I was struck by the scale and transformation of the language of instruction. That was great. Easy to read. However, some important points were left out of the instructions. It comes with some cool screws in the drywall mounts. Doesn't mention though that you'd better not have the cleats behind where you're using them or they won't go all the way in. If you have a stud, you can just throw away the plastic drywall fasteners. but it doesn't say it. It also talks about the right side of the rack, but there's no way to just know that the right side is the side with the bar tensioning mechanism. I should have found out. Anything can be deduced if you think a little. But it has to be spelled out. Once installed it looks quite good but I have to say that the right hand side is not very strong where the rotating part is bolted to the base part. It will hold up well, but not very pleasant to the touch. Who wants their towel rail to move? So I have to deduct a few stars for the wobble. I tried to pull the wobble out and tried to tighten the big hidden screw but couldn't tighten it anymore. The finish looks nice and I would say it's what I would expect from a brushed nickel finish. Doesn't look like cheap chrome.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
