This towel rail comes with everything you need for installation except a tape measure and a drill. I managed to hit the wooden post on one side of the towel rail to make it stable. The wall brackets rise and fall to adjust the level. It's okay if your measurements are slightly different. So you have a game. Simply drill a hole 22" apart and install the brackets. I liked this idea. You can place two mounting bases at almost any distance from each other. However, they offer a minimum distance of about half the rod length. This means you can put the bases on stilettos, or you can have one end of the pole hanging over the end so you can hang a robe or something from it.
