I am 5’9” and on the heavy side. I rarely wear skirts or dresses because of thigh friction. I ordered the 3xl because I wanted more fabric coverage, but I do think the 2xl would have fit (but wouldn’t have been quite as long on the legs). I wouldn’t call this shapewear because it does not tuck or hold anything in place, as far as I’m concerned. Plus, the waistline can be visible (similar to pantyhose waistline at times) depending on what you wear. However, for comfort, hands down this is perfect. Lightweight, soft, and protected my thighs from chub rub. I appreciated that and am able to wear summer skirts and dresses. If you are looking for any fitted control, I wouldn’t recommend. Otherwise, great product. I have both the black and the white.
