I don't know when it happened, but after I retired I started wearing black pocket t-shirts almost all the time. T-shirts are comfortable and I need a bag, so this is my main wardrobe now: T-shirt and shorts/jeans. I wore Fruit of the Loom and Hanes, alternating depending on the price. I used to be able to buy packs of just black t-shirts at my local wmart store, but they no longer sold plain t-shirts. They also stopped being cheap. They are also more expensive online than here. I've seen these Gildan pocket shirts. I've had Gildan t shirts before and they were fine so I gave these a try. As someone who has worn XL shirts for 20 years, these shirts are worth buying. The material is better than cheap department store brands. 100% cotton, not too heavy and not too light. I've had shirts in the past that felt weird because of the way they were cut. They are well cut/tailored, fit perfectly, all naturally. Choose the size you usually wear, they run true to size. Some people complain about having tags on them. I didn't think about it because I can't feel the label but yes they have a label. As far as I know this is not a problem and will not go away like tagless shirts. I have ordered four more 2 packs as I have my new favorite t shirt.
