The space can be expanded with a memory card. - I worried about the screen the most, because. it uses a TFT matrix. Especially worried about the viewing angles. But when I looked in the store, it turned out that the screen is very good. I have been using the tablet for almost a week now - no complaints about the screen, everything is fine from different angles. - The sound is stereo, decent enough for a tablet, you can calmly watch a movie or listen to music in the background. - Built-in shell software - I personally like it. Screen recording functions, face recognition function, various operating modes, file manager, calendar and Samsung's own ecosystem are very well developed and compete with Google. There is even a built-in program to control the use of applications, so as not to sit for hours in sticky! About pen: - Feather included! This is really very cool, compared to the same iPad Pro, for which you need to buy a pen for a lot of money. - The pen glides very nicely across the screen. Compared to the iPad Pro and Pencil 2, the Samsung pen is very soft, there are no fears for the screen. And it springs a little. - The pen is sensitive, it's nice to draw, it reacts to pressure. - The pen is not battery powered and does not need to be charged. Therefore, even the pen is light, the hand will not get tired. - I also didn’t know before the purchase that the pen turns out to be magnetized to the edges of the tablet (see photo)! For me personally, this turned out to be a surprise, and I immediately took my own case with a place for a pen. A little about the branded Book Cover case: the case is pleasant and functional, inside there is a place on the fold for a pen with magnets (so it will not fall off somewhere in the bag), there are two stand modes at different angles, the cover can be turned out completely. The case is attached to the tablet with magnets and holds well.
Cons
- - Not a very adequate light sensor that controls the brightness of the screen. My Samsung phone has auto-brightness turned on and it works fine, I'm very used to it. Therefore, I was a little upset that I had to refuse this function on the tablet. - Heavy, especially with a case. In the store, the tablet seemed light, but it's hard to hold for long-term use. - The screen is glossy and very easily soiled, I will glue the film. - Pen response is not very fast. I knew what I was doing, after all, the most budget version of the tablet with the ability to draw (in the 7th series, the pen response speed was greatly reduced). And as it turned out, it also depends heavily on the application. For example, in Autodesk SketchBook, the pen response is fast and comfortable enough to draw. Yes, there are still lags, but tolerable. - The camera is rather weak, but I didn’t need it, for this I have a phone and a camera. - There is no built-in compass, which makes it difficult to use the Starry Sky application, alas :( The minus of the branded cover is that the tucked-in cover is not very convenient to hold, and it is not very convenient to transfer the cover to the stand position. But in general, these are trifles.
