These sheets are very soft and comfortable. We have only slept in it twice but we are very happy with our purchase. The price was also a plus. Our old sheets were "1800's Egyptian Luxury Thread”, in other words microfiber that tried to fool you into believing it was real Egyptian cotton. These sheets are thicker than they were, but I prefer the little extra weight. My only issue is that after washing it I had a hard time getting it onto our 14 inch deep mattress - the elastic had stretched to the limit and would probably wear out very soon. I doubt it will even fit an 18 inch deep mattress. The second thing I'm not very happy with is the length of the stitches. Each stitch is long (something like the length of the stitches used to gather a piece of fabric). I feel like smaller stings would be stronger and harder to break, but as such removing the star wasn't a huge issue, so they are still 5 star hands to me.
