I bought these three rows of Halloween garlands to decorate my home and desk. They are powered by batteries, which is very convenient for work. You take two AA batteries. There is a switch that allows you to turn the light off, turn it on (flashing mode) and keep it on permanently. I prefer stable ones, but they flash well too. I tried all three strands at home to see which ones I liked best in my robe and to see which ones would look best at work. It's hard to say, they are all very cute, but my son seems to like the bats here. So I know which ones won't come to work! The only issue I had with these lights was that I had trouble opening the battery cover and as a result broke one of the three. It's not a continuous crack, but we heard it crack and then saw the line (picture attached). As this is not complete and does not interfere with the lighting work, I have not downsized my stars, just wanted to add them here for others to know. I think I'll check out what other lights they have!
