got corrupted My dog is a Norwegian Elkhound. This breed is famous for its hunting skills, stubbornness, independence and inability to respond to the "come to me" command. We live on the edge of a large chunk of BLM property. With a collar and a few weeks of training, I can now take him off a leash for a 4-6 mile daily walk and keep an eye on him. So far, this has not been possible without him regularly disappearing somewhere far from sight for an hour or more on almost every walk. The collar and remote control are solid, well built and well designed. This is a quality system well worth the price. Would definitely buy again. Update 7 months later: Great product with a wide range. Then suddenly it stopped working. The units ran intermittently for several days before failing completely. Dogtra phone support diagnosed an issue related to an unintended and accidental pairing. Keep the transmitter and receiver separate except when charging them. Dogtra's customer support was excellent. If this happens to you, call there first before returning for repairs.
