Every video I've seen shows this item being used as a compass with the central magnet remaining stationary. It's not working. No matter how light your touch, the center magnet won't stay in place and you're pulling on your center circle. I've read sentences where others advise putting a piece of metal, like a tin can, under the paper. But please think about how it allows you to put something bulky under your paper to draw a clean line or make accurate measurements? The set is still attractive and the measurements seem to be well taken. Just don't expect beautiful circles and mandalas without a really uncomfortable position.
