Too big for a small child.
I bought this for my 22 month old baby after the description said it could be used for young children. I wouldn't buy it under 4 years old. It's too big to fit on their shorter necks when they're younger. I only kept it because my daughter treats it like a toy and sunbathes in the car with it.
