Review on πŸ’Ί Sleekform Austin Kneeling Chair: Enhance Your Home Office with Ergonomic Active Sitting" by Courtney Cameron

The system requires a quality check.

It would probably be a good chair if I could assemble it. The smallest crossbar (branded no less) didn't even have holes drilled. So while I drilled 3 holes (3/8 for the lag screw and 1/4 for the dowels because of course they aren't the same) I got to know the brand well which I got the power tool out for assembly. a chair that should only hold an Allen key. never mind I know my way around power tools. Finally, I assemble the base and flip it over to mount the seat, but the screws just don't fit no matter how hard I try to manipulate them. At that moment I realized that the chair itself was damaged. The upper curve near the seat was quite sloping - so much so that I wouldn't want my little ones playing in this chair (which was part of its appeal. no sharp edges and all). So if you can open the box of this chair and there are tools for re-drilling holes and maybe re-tapping screws, then this is probably a good chair for you. Otherwise don't waste your time.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • I'm worried
