For what you get this is a 5 star product. I won't discount the lack of tools, but it would be nice if a real binding setter were also included. I would pay extra for that. I've been content with what I have for now, but I buy the right tool for the job. Trying to find 10mm brass latches was quite a challenge. OK - Other than that, these snaps are perfect for 1 oz. Leather. I wouldn't try anything thicker. With this I was able to complete the sheath for the circular knife. Including the picture, taking into account the fact that I am still a beginner in this craft.
