Review on Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC DotDisplay by Hwang Sunshin ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

I bought it at the Aliexpress launch sale for 14k. On paper, the characteristics are bomb for this money, especially considering the price from 18.5k in the 2022. What we liked: 1) Where 120 hertz works - really smoothly and pleasantly. But it does not work everywhere, obviously the technology is not optimized. There are prolags, changes in hertz in the interface and applications. 2) Installed POCO launcher, it does not need to disable ads in all applications, as in a standard MIUI Xiaomi smartphone. 3) The smartphone lives for 2 days under load even with 120 hertz turned on. I haven't tested it at 60, it should be even better. For this fat plus. 4) Charging is really fast, and it comes in the kit - and with a beautiful animation of the running percent of the charge. 5) There are stereo speakers. They just are. The sound is very ordinary, I did not feel a significant increase compared to mono. What did not like: 1) The quality of the pictures on the camera. Look at the detail of the fur of the seals in the first and second photos. The first one was made on another smartphone, the second one was made on POCO X3 NFC. Under normal lighting. I generally keep quiet about shooting even slightly moving objects and poor lighting. There are many cameras, but little sense. I don't understand people posting examples in good sunlight. Under such conditions, any smartphone from 10k will shoot well. Try it in cloudy weather, in the evening or in poor room lighting - you will immediately understand everything. 2) Dimensions. The phone is very large - even though my height is 187cm and my hands are not the smallest. Worn without a cover - and still uncomfortable. 3) Terrible big bulging block of cameras. It looks like a foreign element in the case and adds bulkiness to the device. In general, the phone on the back is not at all handsome after Xiaomi MI9 SE and Mi Note 10, although this is subjective. General conclusion: For your money it's ok. There are few competitors in hardware. But my opinion is that a device for every day should be pleasant to use. Therefore, choose not only according to the characteristics on paper, but also according to the feeling of "like". I didn't have that feeling.
