These wireless devices make the Sony 1000mk3 competitive for the money. There is a photo finish between the two. I generally prefer passive noise cancellation, but the Sony is the first model that I really liked when it comes to active noise cancellation. These Klipschs are easier to use (without an app) and that can be both a plus and a minus. The T5 is definitely louder than Sony or any other wireless headphones I've listened to. A headphone deal is always a seal. They have the best bass of any true wireless headphone. If active noise-cancellation is your priority, Sony wins (careful, did you put your head on the side of the plane? It kills the noise-cancellation, FYI), but if your goal is to block out and drown out outside noise, then the T5 arguably will to win. .
