Due to the faint but noticeable grid lines on the protective foil, the fingerprint scanner constantly does not register the fingers. It got so bad that I had to re-enter the fingerprint data with the screen protector so the fingerprint scanner could honor the dots on the screen protector. After that it works much better. The installation process was easy BUT you have to make sure it fits snugly otherwise if the phone falls it will fall off, defeating the purpose of the screen protector. It's clear but as mentioned the halftone dots are noticeable when light hits the screen and there are 2 very visible lines on the curves of the screen from the protective film even though I pressed them in. It's far from ideal, but it's not. this is bad. It's cheap and makes you wonder why LG VELVET has such bad third-party accessories.
