The cost of a paid subscription seems very reasonable, and there are different subscription tiers to keep costs down (updates per minute, number of months, etc.). As with any power-consuming device, this can drain a dead battery if the car is left unused for a long period of time (weeks/months). So be aware of that. But since you can check the vehicle battery status with the app, you have the opportunity to know when you need to drive the vehicle for some time to charge the vehicle battery.
