I needed to track my car but didn't want to think about changing the batteries. Since this device connects to an OBD II port, you don't have to worry. I had to buy an extension cord to keep it from sticking out that far (I was afraid it would break if it accidentally touched someone's foot). The device is extremely accurate and has many functions. What's nice is that it also provides vehicle-related information (battery status, rapid braking, etc.) and the tracking is very accurate. Geofencing is easy to set up and works very well. The cost of a paid subscription seems very reasonable, and there are different subscription tiers to keep costs down (updates per minute, number of months, etc.). As with any power-consuming device, this can drain a dead battery if the car is left unused for a long period of time (weeks/months). So be aware of that. But since you can check the vehicle battery status with the app, you have the opportunity to know when you need to drive the vehicle for some time to charge the vehicle battery.
