DOG COAT PERFECT. For the price this was an amazing find. The most important feature is that it closes with a zipper in the upper back. Incidentally, this includes a set of rings for attaching a leash to the point where a harness would be attached to the back. It's long enough to cover the top of the tail and the bottom is as long as possible so your pup doesn't pee on it. It is quilted and the fabric is a decent puff coat style waterproof fabric. The fit is perfect if you follow simple measurements. My Cavalier King Charles doesn't like wearing anything, I mean not even a bow in her hair, so she's not usually the most accommodating little girl when you try to adorn her in any way. However, since you only have to put 2 front paws in the armholes on the bottom, she actually joined in. She was a little afraid of the sound of the long flash, but I'm sure everything would be fine as long as it didn't cause her any pain or distress. When I finished putting it on and stepped back to look at her, she looked like an upper class ski princess who would happily beg for treats at any upscale lodge!
