To upload photos on the go, I removed the SD card from the camera, installed it on a portable SD WiFi hotspot, connected it to a phone with a hotspot and transferred files to the Telephone and then to the Internet: a very cumbersome process. This little device plugs directly into my Samsung Galaxy S6, accepts an SD card and makes it easy to transfer pictures. I think that this will be a great addition to my travel backpack - it practically does not weigh, the minimum volume, does not need charging, etc. Successfully used with ASTRO and ES file managers. My only concern is the light weight cable connecting the USB to the package and whether it will hold up over the long term: I have absolutely no problem suggesting that this would be a problem. The price of the device is so attractive that you could buy two if you share this (unfounded) concern.
