My daughter was married last week and had beautiful, white high-heeled, bridal sandals for the ceremony. We walked in happy procession, led by a bag-piper in tartan kilt from the church at the Seaport of Boston to Fan Pier where we boarded a yacht for reception. She wanted a beautiful flat shoe for the walk and onboard, if the sea was rough. She had added a green detail to her lovely lace bridal gown, and this shoe looked like it would go well with that. It certainly did ! It was gorgeous peeking out from the dress. It was not slippery for walking or dancing or moving between decks. And it was elegant! She normally wears an 8 1/2, and the reviews about it running large led me to order an 8 for her. The box included the various things you can use to tighten up the shoes (pads for the heels and insole), and the fit was perfect. I loved this D'Orsay style and she chose to wear this, but I also ordered the closed flat which was lovely, too. She will keep that for another time.
