I bought this a few months ago for my autistic son's 9th birthday. He's extremely hyperactive and destructive and hasn't managed to tag the thing yet. He really likes umbrellas so this thing was a big hit for him. He's about 4'3" tall and weighs 60 pounds for reference. He likes to sit in the "pool" part although he doesn't fit in and before I kick him out I checked his legs to see if they move at all. Nothing. It's very durable. Only thing I can say against that is that the mounting screws are a bit difficult to put in place as the holes aren't pre-drilled. I just used a cordless drill and screwed them in slowly pushed through the plastic. I recommend either putting it together before your child sees it, or having another adult hold it while you collect it. Apparently my son can read assembly instructions faster than I can. He kept pulling the pieces out my hands and handed me the right ones, sighed and pointed to the next steps. The instructions are very clear. I don't need his help. I guess this is what life as a teenager will be like. Anyway, he liked it once it was added Nurse built and played with nothing for at least 2 hours. t until the weather is warm enough to take it outside and fill it with sand and water.
