Great product suitable for outdoor activities

Coleman Cooler Backpack Review This is a great product. Used it daily for 2 weeks in Barbados. We loaded him to the brim with heavy food and drink and he held up well. There are no problems with split seams. Here's what we packed each day: There are 2 500ml plastic bottles of frozen water at the bottom of the couch bag. This is how we kept our food and drinks cool instead of using ice cubes. Cooling food this way really didn't take up much space, and at the end of the day we were able to drink any meltwater we needed. Then we packed: 1-2 liter bottle of water; 3-500ml tea and juice bottles (all liquids are well chilled before packing); 2 rolls; Cut vegetables; Cheese; dried; 2 pieces of fruit; Pretzels; 2 servings of chips; Granola bar; Cookie. We have packed most groceries into 6 separate Tupperware containers which take up more space but store groceries better. It lasted the whole package, with minimal strain to close the zips and no strain on the zip when closing. Packed like this, there was zero free space in the front pocket – we just put the tissues in a zippered pocket. Loaded this way, the 2 mesh side pockets also only fit into something small or flat. I put my watch there. I would call it a medium sized backpack. I was able to use the padded waist belt which is why I bought this backpack, but I'm small (1.50m) so this backpack fits me. For a taller person, a padded hip belt will reach much higher, perhaps around the waist. We went to different beaches every day and the backpack was comfortable. Wherever you need it, there's ample padding. The backpack does not compress well so it takes up space in your checked baggage. Because of this, I used it as a "personal item" for air travel and only filled it with soft items. Any sharp objects, like a brush, comb or maybe even an iPad, run the risk of piercing the bag's loose, plastic-like insulating material. You should keep this fragility in mind when packaging food and beverages. We always kept the backpack in the shade and covered it with a towel. Food and drinks were still cool at the end of an 8 hour day. I recommend this product for similar purposes.
