These strips work really well after 5-7 days of continuous use. The first day is always the hardest because my teeth become incredibly sensitive which makes eating or drinking difficult. After the 1st day of sensitivity, the discomfort disappears and everything is fine. I usually use the strips for a week because 1 hour is a long time to keep them on my teeth. I want the strips to work in just 30 minutes. I buy them for both my husband and myself. He doesn't find them to affect the sensitivity of his teeth as they seem to affect mine so everyone is different but be aware that if they feel sensitive after the first use it GETS BETTER!
